Wasatch Roller Derby is teaming up with Uinta madness the new Utah Roller Derby league

for men. 

We will be holding try-out for both leagues.  Come and join the action.  Be a part of something fun for the whole family.  Wasatch Roller Derby will be starting a Junior League in January.

This is an intense, fun and competitive sport.  Both WRD and UMRD are non-profit organizations and spend time giving back to the community. 

There are several things we look for in a skater:

Basic skills: Agility, Balance, Crossovers, Endurance, Forward skating, Skating low, Skating on one foot, Speed, Stopping.

Other important features of a roller derby girl or guy: Good Attitude, Ability to listen and apply new knowledge, Enthusiasm.

What will I need to try out?

Every skater will be required to have a wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads mouth guard and quad roller skates.   Quad Roller skates can be rented from Hollywood.

DO NOT SKATE:  That’s ok.  We have plenty of other position for you to get involved.  Our volunteer staff is what keeps everything running smooth.  Contact us or show up at try-outs to see what it is all about
