The Wayne Hoskins Band has had its ups and downs.  From the lead singer breaking his nose to taking nearly a year to get their LP completed.  One thing they haven't done though is give up on their music.  The band, in its current form has been going since May of 2008.  With the addition of Carl on bass, and Eric on drums the band has found a grittier edge without losing the passion and resilient somberness that comes with their music.   

While they've been busy in the studio since March of this year, they have continued to write new music and are now preparing for the release of their first LP; so far entitled As We Were.  It's hard to find good music in the sea of local music available here in Salt Lake - look for their upcoming album late this year.
