As the warm days of summer are slowly drifting towards the snowstorms of winter, the IN staff decided to take advantage of the afternoon warmth on Friday to walk the few blocks over to the downtown location of Café Trang to sample their lunch menu. We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of meals priced at $7.99 or less. I considered one of the tofu curry and noodle dishes and was tempted by a bento box before deciding that I'd go with a lunch combo because I was craving a cup of hot and sour soup (not to mention Amy was craving the curry). Given the choice of two entrees from a list of 14, I picked a combination of Lemon Grass Tofu and La Han Tofu.

Our meals arrived quickly after we ordered. Unfortunately, this is when the pleasant experience was met with mixed reviews. I enjoyed my meal. The tofu was soft and flavorful and my soup was perfect but both Kelly and Amy found their meals to be a bit on the runny side. Amy suggested that her curry dish would have been better with rice while Kelly wished she had gone with a bento box with sushi.
