" Ladies Night, a beautiful night where girls dress-up with glee. They walk in a group to get the scoop and enter in for free. They play the strings of young gullible men and give them an overdraft fee. Oh ladies night you cursed night why won’t you let me be? " - Jesus Christ

Kristy is getting ready to hang out with her girls and have a wild night of chasing shots, boys and child support.  When we hear the words “Ladies Night” our peckers jump up for joy as we predict our faiths with the vixens of the night. We call our buds and prepare for battle as we enter the nest of Gods second creation, Woman. As the doors shut behind us we quickly become jack asses. We quickly start throwing money away, like we got any, to please their thirst of 8 dollar drinks for her and her friends.  Susan B. Anthony fought for Women’s Rights, but yet no girl has bought me a beer. The aftermath of that night takes a toll on your bank account and your mind. That’s why I say down with “LADIES NIGHT” and up with “GUYS NIGHT”.

I’m 27 years old, single and outgrown the whole club phase. One thing that I have not outgrown is chilling with the boys, whether is our yearly “SAW” movie viewing or watching MMA on the pay-per-view, Guys Night is always a kick ass night. Now many of you people might be thinking that that’s pretty queer; if hanging out with a bunch of guys is queer then… it probably sounds right, but we’re not.

I believe that us Men should bond like brothers and not worry about getting laid every time we go out in a pack.  There are many manly activities that can be done that don’t involve women; like bowling; a bar or even a kick ass video game party. Who doesn’t love video games? Now I’m not saying switch sides and pound your best bud from behind, no what I am saying is take some time away from the lady and enjoy a few pints of beer with your boys.

Here’s a typical guys night in my world: UFC PPV is playing on the T.V and the grill is out on the back. Mike is flipping burgers while Mark and I discuss the upcoming fights upon a cig or two. A few friends show up with cases of bud light and brats to feed the grill. The fight starts and we cheer, get drunk and make fun of whatever Goldberg says. The party doesn’t end so we drive (designated drivers girlfriend) to the nearest karaoke bar and sing till our heart content. Girls ask us to buy them beers and we tell them as long as we get head. They walk away in disgust while we high five each other. The night ends and the lights dim inside this whole in the wall pub. We bid each other farewell and get yelled at by our significant other, but deep down we’re cool with that just because we had fun.

In conclusion love can be the foundation that builds a strong relationship with your girl, but drinking to the point of stupidity with your buds is the shingles to that outpost you built out back. That made no sense and that is why I love Guys Night.
