This Friday: With Fashion Stroll Comes 'Style Wars'

SLC's beloved, free, all-local fashion festival, which happens twice a year on 300 South between 100 and 400 East, returns Sept. 25. And this time, it means war.
In addition to runway shows that commence at 7, 8 and 9 p.m., Fashion Stroll hosts a new feature this month called Style Wars, in which locals compete with hair, makeup and fashion for the title of Top Designer (plus copious amounts of prizes). The showdown goes down at 6:30 p.m.
Other attractions include a performance by Transfusion Hype Dance Co. at 9 p.m., and the big reveal of The Truth's ex-smoker makeover.
