Park City Picnic Pile Up is a fund raising event benefiting Friends of Animals (http://www.friendsofanimals.net/), starting at 2 PM, Saturday, June 20th, at Trailside Park (5705 Trailside Drive, Park City, UT 84098). This is live Roller Derby Action. Wasatch Roller Derby had a great night for the American Diabetes Association. Sugar Slashers took control early in the first half but not with out some trouble from the Carbo Killers who played a very physical game. Queen Annes Revenge and Honey Delunatic being the top scores of the night. Hard hits being dished out all night by Dr. Pain, Gunnin Geisha, Moxie Rotten and Hydro Pain. With a surprise trick whip by Kinky KillBasa and Medusa Damage. Killers came within 10 points with 8 minutes left on the clock but with girls spending too much time in the penalty box the Slashers widened the gap once again. Both teams fought hard but in the end it was the Sugar Slashers taking the game 114-86.
